Delete Your GreetPop Account

GreetPop is a friend birthday and occasion reminder app. This page explains how to delete your GreetPop account and what happens to your data.
1. Delete From Inside The App
- Open the GreetPop app on your phone.
- Sign in with the Google or Apple account you used to create your GreetPop account.
- Tap Settings (gear icon).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm the prompt. Your account and personal data are removed immediately.
2. Delete By Email
If you cannot sign in to the app, you can email a deletion request:
- Send an email to verbytskyi.nazar@gmail.com from the email address that owns the account.
- Subject line: "Delete my GreetPop account".
- Your account will be permanently erased within 30 days of the request and you will receive a confirmation reply.
3. What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following is permanently erased immediately if you delete from inside the app, or within 30 days if you submit a deletion request by email:
- Account information (name, email address linked via Google or Apple Sign-In)
- Your friends list (names, birthdays, relationships, notes, avatars, phone numbers, group memberships, social handles)
- Events and reminders you created
- Greeting history (occasion, channel used, and short excerpt of past greetings)
- Premium subscription status (the underlying Apple App Store or Google Play subscription must be cancelled separately through the store)
- Voice settings, theme, language, and other in-app preferences
- Notification history stored in the in-app Notification Centre
4. What Data Is Kept
- Aggregated, anonymous analytics events — Mixpanel retains event-level data for up to 25 months for product-improvement purposes. Your identity is reset on deletion so retained events can no longer be linked back to you.
- Crash reports without personal identifiers — Sentry retains crash diagnostics that contain no personal data and cannot be linked back to you.
- Records I am required to keep by law — for example, tax records related to premium subscription purchases, retained for the period required by the applicable tax authority.
5. Cancel Your Premium Subscription
Deleting your GreetPop account does not automatically cancel your premium subscription with Apple or Google. To stop being billed:
- Apple App Store — Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → GreetPop → Cancel
- Google Play — Play Store → profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → GreetPop → Cancel
